The company's governing and management bodies are the General Assembly, the Board of Administration and the Management. The latter function is currently performed by the managing director. The General Assembly is made up of 53 members and chaired by the Mayor of Badalona, Xavier Garcia Albiol. With the mayor, the Assembly is made up of the other 26 representatives of Badalona City Council and 26 county councillors, appointed by a full meeting of that council. The Board of Administration is made up of fifteen people and chaired by the mayor (eight represent the City Council and seven representing Barcelonès County Council. The Board of Administration may, from among its members, appoint one or more executive directors, whose responsibility is for five years, which can be renewed one or more times for an equal period.
