Last weekend, it took place in Estany de Banyoles, the 2^nd Catalan Rowing Event, organized by the Catalan Rowing Federation. The races of sliding seat or fixed seat like Mediterranean and catalan llaguts were done on Sunday. Among the participants of fixed seats there were: Rem Santa Cristina, Rem Pescadors, Rem Empuriabrava, Rem Palamós, Rem Arenys, Vent d’Estrop de Cambrils, Nàutic Bétulo, Natació Badalona, Nàutic Amposta and Rem Badalona. These clubs, who participated in the youth categories, veterans and seniors; male and females, did the races in the Olympic races area making the distances of 1500 m for youth and veterans and 2000 m for seniors. The Rowing Club Badalona, presented for the first time a female senior team. Once finished, it took place a lunch for all the rowers of both fixed and sliding seat, where there was the trophies ceremony for the best teams, clubs and trainers of the season 2011. For fixed seat, the Rowing Club Badalona was awarded for being the best male senior team, and as the best trainer: Juan Manuel Novo, for winning: the Ligue Championship and Catalonia of Batel, Catalan and Mediterranean Llagut and to have achieved the fourth place in the Spanish Championship. The other awards were given to the female senior rowing team of Empuriabrava and as the best club, the Yacht Club Flix.

The world champion of duathlon Roger Roca has won this Sunday the 1^st race Badalona Running – Memorial Luis Condon. Roca has run the 10 kilometers of the route across the most emblematic places of the city within 31 minutes and 14 seconds. The athlete from Igualada was one of the most popular and favorite to cross the finishing line. The second position has been for the triathlete from Badalona Jordi Garcia Gràcia, with 32 minutes, and Marc hurtado has been the third. In the feminine category Maria Bartolí has been the first one to cross the finishing line, with a time of 40 minutes and the second has been Maite Ríos. The race has counted with nearly 1300 registered runners, among which we could find professional sportsmen with a great sportive resume. There also has been the participation of musical groups of Badalona Cloverance, who did a performance in the Port of Badalona and Stunfox.

Getting to know the seabirds that we can find in our littoral is the objective of the day-trip programmed for this Sunday, February 19th aboard of the ketch Ciutat Badalona. This is the proposal of this week and the next, scheduled for next Saturday, February 25^th, is about the pirate incursions in our coasts.  For the fifth year in a row, of Remo Badalona's Club has returned to take part in the second ditch of traineras of the pre-season of the Basque Country, who organizes "Hondarribia Arraun". As the representatives of the Club explain, during one very cold evening, to zero degrees and cupping glass, approximately thirty fishing boats of the ACT (Hondarribia, Orio, San Pedro, Zierbana, San Juan, Shipyard and Pedreña), and of the ARC (Zumaia, Zarautz, Ondarroa, Santurtzi, Illumbe, Getaria and Colindres) they did 3 nautical miles (5.556 m). This year the crew of Remo Badalona's Club has been formed totally for members of the Club and the trainera property of the sports association has done the trip from the Port de Badalona to the Port d'Hondarribia. The meteorological conditions have done that the result was not waited for the Club or the strong wind impeded the boss to be able to dominate this craft of 12 meters. From Remo Badalona they share that the experience has turned to be fantastic, specially for the sportsmen who for the first time have lived a few days of oar in the Basque Country.

Last Sunday, February 12th, it took place the first test of the free competition of Club de Pesca Esportiva Badamar. This time, was about fishing the heaviest species of “pagell” that the boats participating could fish. The results of the competition were these: the boat Lucky II fished a piece of 8,860 kg, who won the trophy. The 4 fishermen of Speed III captured a “pagell” of 6,890 kg, leaving in the third place the boat Joangi with a fish of 2,930 kg. All of them, respecting the minimum length of 18 cm. Next meeting will be on March 11, Sunday with the competition of anchored boat.

Ricard Font, general manager of Transports and Mobility, has realized a visit to Badalona's port enclosure, accompanied by the councilman of Public Route and Mobility of the Town hall of Badalona, Daniel Gracia, and of the managing director of Marina de Badalona, Francesc Panella. The visit of the representative of the Autonomous government of Catalonia has centred on knowing first hand all the facilities, so that it has walked along the Wharf of West, where the Ciutat Badalona is tied, has visited the shipyard, the sea-coast dries and the subtraction of wharves and the mole. Before to the tour, there has been a meeting in the building of Captaincy, in which also there has taken part Ramon Riera, councilman of Estate of Badalona's Town hall, in which has been explained the origin of the project and his evolution, up to the current moment, in which there has to be executed part of the remodeling of the Gorg, the channel, the viaduct of the train and to be able only for developing the construction of the hotel and the center of conventions and other assets of the Port. In the meeting also the investments have been approached in mobility and the connections key to provide with more communication, and therefore, centrality, the project.

After Christmas Holidays, and after having started classes again, the Port of Badalona receives schools to visit the facilities and to learn about fisheries in the coast of our city. Visits are scheduled on Tuesdays. This week has come a class of the students of 3^rd grade of elementary school of Escola Jungfrau, and next week, this is on January 24th, Tuesday, will come the other class of the same school. Enric Cahner, director of the Escola del Mar, accompanies them during the visit and explains the fishing techniques, how does the fish market work, which species we can find in Badalona, etc.

Last Sunday, January 15th, the fishing competition season of the Club de Pesca Deportiva Badamar started with the new Competition of Big Peace. The meeting, that had as objective fishing the biggest piece, crowned the boat Papillón, who fished a European Conger of 6,850 kg; the fishermen of Speed III were classified in the second place and the boat Joangi was the third one. The captures were given to a Food Bank of Badalona. The next meeting will be on February 12th, Sunday, with the competition of Common Pandora.

Since this week, we can already use the new laundry of the Port, situated in the same venue, totally renewed, of the local number 1 of the North Dock. New machines of big capacity have been installed (two washing machines of 13 kg and 8 kg respectively and a drier of 14 kg). The machines only work by introducing tabs, which can be bought at the Port Control Center (situated on the Dock of Ribera) or at the offices of Captaincy (situated on the Captaincy Dock). The cost of each tab is 4€. The facility is commanded by Port Control, and the team of sailors will advise you when using the machines if there is any doubt. In any case, the indications are properly specified in the enclosure of this service, located in the port but opened to the entire city. The opening time is from 7.00 am until 9.00 pm.

The ketch Ciutat Badalona brings on January 21st, Saturday, 2012, the first day trip of the five ones opened to the public that are programmed during this 1st term of the year. This day the proposition is concreted on the adventure of “Discovering Badalona from the sea. Our skyline”, by Pere Costa. Aboard of the classic boat, we can observe the city from the sea, paying attention to the most singular buildings and mountains. The tour will depart at 11.00 a.m. from Captaincy Dock and will come back approximately at 2.00 p.m. The next appointment will be on February. This way, on Sunday 19th, the tour will be about “Seeing marine birds of our littoral” by naturalist Josep Torrent. The third appointment of this present term, with the same schedule: “About pirates! The incursions in our coast”, which is about the misdeeds of the corsair Catxidiable in our littoral, scheduled for Febrary 25th, Saturday; and again in March 17th, Saturday too. The last one scheduled until now is on March 25th, Sunday, again with the topic of sea birds. The available spaces for each trip are limited, according to the indications of Maritime Captaincy, to 28 people. The registration can be done in our web site, in the section of Ciutat Badalona.

Clicking the one of interest, there will be a little explanation about the trip as well as relevant indications. Below, there is a button to enroll in the trip. The number of people that want to join the trip selected may be written and also there will be some required fills that will have to be filled in, such as names and surnames, age, e-mail, address, etc. At the end, having at hand the credit card, only is needed to pay. When from the finance entity is confirmed that the operation has been properly processed, the booking is done! You will be sent a receipt that works both as invoice and receipt as entry ticket. Also, there is the possibility to become a member of the Associació d’Amics del Quetx Ciutat Badalona, who will have a 10% discount for the trips, all trough or web site.  December 23rd, the fisherman Pepe Costa from the fishing boat Ciudad de Badalona fished a shark of the species Alopias vulpinus, commonly known as Thresher. Its long tail measures nearly as much as its body and it shakes it from side to side to surround or hurt its preys. He can hunt alone or in group, and he normally eats schooling fish. The shark had been fished by net and dragged to the Port, where a crane had to be used to take it out of the water. Afterwards, it was taken to the fish market where it was sold. The shark weighted more than 300 kg and measured approximately 2 meters. It is the second time this lasts years that a shark is fished on the coast of Badalona. In April 2008, a shark from a different species but with larger dimensions was found as well.

Tuesday, December 13^th, a school visit to the Port of Badalona from the students of the 6th grade of the elementary school Llibertat took place. Similar to the other school visits, the pupils could visit the facilities and learn the function of a port as well as how it works. A part from this, they visited the fish market at the moment of the auction for the fish. The majority of the kids had not seen an auction before, so they were really impressed about it. Afterwards, they had time to talk for a while and ask some questions. Previously, Enric Canher, director from l’Escola del Mar, had done a introduction about the fishing techniques and the most common species that we can find in the sea of Badalona. Tuesday 20^th, another class of the 6th elementary grade of the same school will come to visit us in the Port. This one will be the last visit of this term before the school holidays for Christmas. At the beginning of the year there will be more educational visits.

Due to the collaboration of different entities and firms, the activities that took place in the Port of Badalona permit adding up to 1745,5€ in la Marató of TV3 of the current edition, number 20, which, even in the current situation of crisis there  has been a new record of fundraising which adds up more than 7 million euros. From 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, when it took place the last musical show, there had been many musical and sports activities. We would like to highline the implication of Voluntaris Badalona, IKEA, Forn Bertran, la Confraría de Pescadors, la Escuela Municipal de Vela,  Amics del Quetx Ciutat Badalona, Club Joventut Badalona, Club de Rem Badalona, Club Natació Badalona, Club Nàutic Betulo, Supermercats Condis , l’AAVV Front Marítim and Castellers de Badalona among the local partners who collaborated in the event. Due to the great experience that it has been, the Port will offer again its facilities to gather the effort of the city for the next edition of la Marató.

All the captures made by the Club in the sea of Badalona during the season 2012 and after the agreement with the Alderman of Sports, Education and Youth of the City Council of Badalona, will be destined to charity through the different Food Banks available in the city. The compromise of the Club is specified in these difficult moments also as a measure to keep the city together and to help those who need it. By rough estimates from the data of past years, approximately 550kg of fish will be destined this next year 2012 to this worthy cause. The club will begin the season on January the 15th, and among the scheduled appointments there is the Championship of Catalunya of Anchored Craft by Federació Catalana de Pesca of the next march 3^rd 2012 in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. Badalona has classified three fishermen –Quim Arqué, Josep Antoni Lleida and Joaquim Arqué- in a championship where there will be the best 40 sportsmen of all the Catalan territory. The 8 first classified will access at the Championship of Spain that will take place in la Bahía de Algeciras- Cádiz the next 12 and 13 of May, organized by la Federación Española de Pesca.

On Sunday 18th, December, at 11.00 am there will be a day trip aboard the ketch Ciutat Badalona with the following topic: Observation and recognition of Marine Birds of our littoral. The speech will be carried out by the naturalist Josep Torrent. We will discover which seabirds we can find in our litoral, how they look like, which are their habits, and the relationship they establish with people, among other things. This is a trip that had to be done on the 17^th of November, but due to the weather conditions, it had to be cancelled. The trip, organized by Marina Badalona with the collaboration of l’Escola del Mar and the crew of Asociació d’Amics del Quetx Ciutat Badalona has no space available already. The next trips for the next term will be on the 21^st of January, February 19^th and March 17^th, with different topics.

The next Saturday 17th of December, there is a scheduled day trip aboard the classic craft in order to discover the story of the leader corsair Catxidiable in 1527, related to the constitution of the city of Badalona. This trip is the last one of the five scheduled for this last term of 2011. There are no available places for this adventure, but from January of 2012, there will be more trips, the dates of which will be programmed soon. Marina Badalona has created a system to be able to register easily through our web page, in the section of Ciutat Badalona, where further information about the trips will be found, as well as the way to register. This option will be available forthcoming.

On Tuesday 29^th of November, the students of the 3^rd elementary grade of the School Mediterrània have visited the port. The visit has been held about the fisheries in Badalona, the techniques, the most common species, how does the fish market works and what is, and how can we fish in a responsible way, among other things. The students have also visited the other facilities of the Port, learning each of the parts that form it and their functions, as well as a visit to the fish market, watching a real auction for the fish. The school visits to the port, which are organized by Marina Badalona, with the collaboration of l’Escola del Mar, are a great opportunity for the kids and the youth of Badalona and the metropolitan area to learn about this reality.

On Sunday 27th of November, at 11.00 am, there will be a day trip available to everyone aboard the Ketch Ciutat Badalona to watch and recognize the seabirds of our coast line. The chat will be carried on by the naturalist Josep Torrent, who will explain, among other things, that from the approximately 9.000 bird species that exist in the world, nearly 300 are considered to be seabirds. We will learn which groups of these birds are found in Badalona, which are their characteristics and which is the better time of the year to observe them. Day trips are organized by Marina Badalona, along with the support of the Escola del Mar and thanks to the volunteer crew of the Associació d’Amics del Quetx Ciutat Badalona. All the available space is already reserved. The next day trip is scheduled on the 17th of December, and it is already full as well. At the beginning of December registration will be available for the next three day trips on January, February and March.

The meeting is at 9.30 pm in a restaurant of the Port, where there will be representatives of Badalona’s Council and Marina Badalona. It will be the moment to do the rating of the season 2011, and to hand in the prizes to the top three ranked of the four categories of the social contests. Due to the fact that the competitions have already been finished, the sports society, which has its headquarter in the Nautical Activities Center of the Port of Badalona, has provided the classification. This way, the first prize for the competition of anchored boat goes to Quim Arqué, who has been classified for Catalunya’s contest and will represent Badalona in this national meeting. The first prize for the free competition of the “common Pandora” goes for the boat called Speed III and the open of “llorito” has been won by the crew formed by Isidoro Nicolás, Carmen Giménez and Elisabet Pruna. The skipper of this crew, Isidoro Niolás has also been the absolute winner of the contest see-coast.

The boats Dimma, BWater, The Sea Dream Dos and Mont-Mar-Lai turned out to be the absolute winners of the four categories which integrate the Marina Badalona Trophy, the first part of the race Stil Nautic. Despite the fact that it was raining during all the weekend, the sport and leisure meeting got together twenty five boats of the municipalities of the central regions of Barcelona, specifically the sailing Clubs of Badalona, Mataró, Masnou, Premià, el Balis and the Olympic Port.The 18th edition of the race Stil Nautic, organized by the Sailing Club of Mataró and the Port of Mataró, with the collaboration of Marina Badalona and the Sailing Club of Badalona, is divided in two parts. The first one, corresponds to the Saturday 19th of November and departs at 12.00 pm from Mataró towards the Port of Badalona. It is the one which corresponds explicitly to the VII Trophy Marina Badalona.At the next day, Sunday 20th of November at 11.00 am the second part of the competition takes place, coming back to the Port of Mataró, scoring round within the global race of Stil Nautic.

About thirty boats in the municipalities of the central districts of Barcelona will participate on the weekend of the 19th and 20th of November in the 18th edition of the race Stil Nautic organized by the Sailing Club Mataró and the Port of Mataró, along with the collaboration of Marina Badalona and the sailing Club Badalona. It is divided in two parts. The first one, Saturday 19th of November, departs at 12 pm from Mataró to the Port of Badalona, that corresponds to the VII Trophy Marina Badalona. The trophies of this competition will be given in a fellowship dinner at Saturday night in a port establishment. On the next day, Sunday 20th of November, at 11.00 am departs the second part of the competition that consists on the return to the Port of Mataró.

On Friday, 11^th of November, at 5.30 pm, the venue of “Taverna” in the area of Traditional Marine of the Boat Show of Barcelona will host Marcel Mongay’s conference about the history and recovery process of the Ketch Ciutat Badalona. The boat, built in Denmark in 1929, had been acquired in 2006 by the society Ciutat Badalona. Since then, and specially from 2010, due to the constitution of the Association Amics del Quetx Ciutat Badalona , the remodeling process, the technical advice and the volunteer  crew training has been driven, such that since September 2011, all the permits to be able to sail again have been achieved.

Marina Badalona will be present in the 50^th edition of the Barcelona International Boat Event. On one hand, it exposes together with Asociación de Amigos del Quetch Ciutat Badalona and with the collaboration of the Escola del Mar, the recuperation process of the Ketch Ciutat Badalona in the area of Traditional Marine, and will also inform about the next two day-trips. These, will take place in la Gran Via, Hall 2, Street T, stand 11. On Friday 11^th of November, Marcel Mongay will give a talk about this classic boat. On the other hand, the Port also offers the news and the nautical services in the stand of the Asociación Catalana de Puertos Deportivos y Turísticos. In the same hall, Street A, Stand 157.  During the weekend of the 5^th and 6^th of November, there will be some activities from the 2^nd Modernist Fair taking part in the Port. Because of that, there will be a train on both Saturday and Sunday to communicate the Plana Square, the central venue of the event, with the Port to make the displacement easier. In the Port there will be the donkey’s caravan, poetry activities and the opportunity to become a time character. Also, there will be day trips with the Ketch Ciutat Badalona, with the collaboration of the Asociación de Amigos del quetch Ciutat Badalona, and there will be the opportunity to make a modernist mural, thanks to the Instituto Gaudí de la Construcción. On Sunday afternoon, there will be a classic car exhibition that will arrive to the Port, where they will be exposed until the event finishes. The Fair also offers, among other things, guided tours to the Anís del Mono.

On October 8  celebrated the graduation of the Ciutat Badalona crew members' first promotion of the quech and was the moment in which the captain of the craft, Marcel Mongay, announced the summons of the formation to have the second promotion. To this first equipment of 24 partners there corresponds to him the responsibility of giving continuity to the calendar of activities of the quech and of extending the equipment of crew members making the formation of the one that will be the second promotion. Both Marina de Badalona and the Associació d'Amics of the Quetx Ciutat Badalona entrust that the second summons also are a success. Any person interested in forming a part has to give the first step associating to the entity to join this group. The summons for the formation will be done every Thursday and every Saturday morning. The signature Shipyards Catalonia has established in Badalona's Port, where it operates with his new brand " Carpintería Náutica Morales&Morales ". Concretely, they are employed at the workshop number 3 of the technical area of Badalona's shipyard. Offers his portfolio of nautical services already consolidated, of carpentry of bank, of construction of hulls - monohulls and specialization in fishing - and the diversification of works in interiors and covers. In addition, it adds the management of the travel of the esplanade of the enclosure.

Badalona's Port has added a new service in the enclosure. So that, in the frame of the renovation of the space of the Port Control, it has installed, in the area of influence of this place that always is occupied and monitored, a cash dispenser.  Next Sunday, the 5 of June, Badalona celebrates, one more year, the Party of the Mar, with the aim to bring the sea over, to learn and to spend it well. The day, which places in the celebration of the Day Muncial of the Seas and Oceans and of the World Day of the Environment, has as central motive favor the contact with this ecosystem, so much announcing some aspects of his functioning, since promoting the playful and sports activities that could be realized. From 10.30 hours, and up to 14.00 hours, they were beginning the activities in the walk of the Rambla in front of the School of the Mar, and also, for the first time activities were beginning in the port: visits to the Ciutat Badalona, baptisms of sailing, a sample of subaquatic activities and of crafts and fishing tackles. During the whole morning a train will join the walk of the Rambla with the port

On Saturday, the 14th of May, 2011, in School of the Sea, Centre Badalona's 'Estudis Marins, at 12 p.m. the exhibition " 1911. To survive the Tempest ", that commemorates the centenary of the temporary one who, on January 31, 1911, punished the coasts of the Països Catalans and provoked the death of many fishermen for the whole littoral. With this itinerant exhibition realized by Cambrils's Museu d'Història, are explained the meteorological circumstances that provoked the tempest and across the quiet testimonies and of them notify of file and of press, re-follows the path that continued from the Maresme up to Alacant, with a balance sheet of more than 80 dead men in Catalonia (of between them 11 of Badalona) and more than 50 in the País Valencià. Have been added 5 soffits realized by the School of the Sea, pays for Marina Badalona, where they explain from relatives' oral sources of the victims, the consequences of the tempest in Badalona, of the socioeconomic environment and of precariousness that there had the fishermen of that epoch, of the development of the tempest, the consequences, the victims and of the great deployment of acts solidary that it was. Also it will be possible observe the projects of the monument done by sculptors of the Taller BDN to commemorate the centenary. During the time that the exhibition is in School of the Sea it has foreseen visits commented in some bank holidays of which it will report opportunely. The schedule of visit is from Monday until Friday of 10:00 to 14:00h and every Thursday also of 16:30h to 19:00h (entered the Santa Madrona). On Saturdays, Sundays and festive, of 11:00h to 14:00h (entered Rambla, 37).

Since in the previous edition, this sports and playful appointment placed in the Festes de Maig will happen for the Port. Concretely, the tour that from Sant Lluc's Bridge will fall sick towards the Rambla will be that of the red category, the big career of 10.000 meters. To emphasize that the inscription has had to be closed a few days before the term foreseen because of the success of summons: More than 3.000 persons have registered. The forecast is that the career happens for the port on 11.00 hours of the morning, to where it has foreseen a point of water victualling.

Traffic has returned to the full length of Carrer de la Indústria after it was closed for a period so that urban development work could be carried out as part of the new look for the Gorg district· The opening of this road to two-way traffic in this section allows vehicles to use an important link that connects a good part of the city to Barcelona, as well as to the new sea front via the new Sant Lluc bridge· The new stretch of road is 70 metres long by 16 wide, with a section of 6 metres of road surface and two pavements each five metres wide· The scheme has involved the urban development of around 4,500m2· In addition to the coming into service of Carrer de Guifré (October 2009), the new Sant Lluc bridge (April 2010) and Carrer de la Indústria (September 2010), this quarter of 2010 will see the reopening of the Carrer del Progrés bridge, with similar characteristics to the Indústria bridge, as part of the final stage of the second phase of Rambla del Gorg (the first part of which came into service in March)· The work to complete the Indústria bridge began during the first week of May 2010 and the contract, worth almost 1·2 million euros, was awarded to the company GRUPMAS CONSTRUCTORA, SLU·

Marine de Badalona has provided itself with an advisory council of boating experts as a consultative body to deal with, debate and provide opinions on any specialised issue concerning the sea· The team is led by Marcel Mongay, a person with recognised prestige and a track record in this field, who is a senior coasting and high seas skipper by training and has long experience sailing the seas all over the world, as well as spending time as a teacher· At this first stage, the group is completed by Enric Canher, biologist and director of the School of the Sea; Jordi Serrano, an engineer, industrial technician and sailor, and Frederic Ochoa, who has taken a degree course on the merchant navy and provides sailing training for fishermen at Government of Catalonia centres· The statutes of this consultative body, which were unanimously approved at the meeting of the company's Board of Directors held on 21 July, include the fact that the Mayor of Badalona, Jordi Serra, and the chief executive, Francesc Panella, must attend the team's working sessions, and that Marcel Mongay will can invited to the Board Directors· One of the first things the advisory council has been commissioned to do is to provide an in-depth study on making the boat Ciutat de Badalona fit to sail

Badalona will open the New Year with the Municipal Sailing School under way, a public centre to bring the public, particularly young children and school pupils, close to the sea through sailing· The Municipal Sailing School will be located on the ground floor of the Dry Dock building, a large accessible space, which will offer many programmes, including day-long introductory courses, week-long courses, sailing after school hours, courses to perfect skills, summer schools, adapted sailing, a range for businesses, racing courses··· The whole programme will have to follow the standards set by the Catalan Sailing Federation· A wide range on offer at public prices approved by the company so that everyone can find the course that best suits them, with the idea of trying sailing, learning, improving and perfecting their technique, and even, if they want to, ending up competing· The Municipal Sailing School will be run by the company that is successful in the tender procedure officially opened in September· The specifications can now be consulted, for information, in the Contractor's Profile section of this website· The specifications with the technical and administrative conditions governing this tender process unanimously approved by the company's board of directors at the meeting held on 21 July· The period for presenting tenders will be officially opened in September, when the call for tenders is published in the Butlletí Oficial de la Província (BOP)· The documents with the requirements has been published to make the process as open as possible

Work is starting at the beginning of August on the traditional fishing base facilities which, according to the established schedule, should be ready by the autumn· The contract has been awarded to TAU ICESA, through a public tender process, for a sum of 406,635 euros· The implementation of this scheme resolves a historic demand by the city's fishermen, a demand it has been possible to meet through a process of participation and negotiation between Barcelona City Council, the Marina de Badalona company, the Directorate General of Fishing and the fishermen of Badalona· This culminated some months ago, when an assembly of the Fishermen's Association approved the programme of uses, the architectural design and the management of this new facility· The traditional fishing base is designed to meet the real needsof the fishermen and will be ready to house 15 boats of the kind they use· The fish market building is distributed into a central weighing and public auction room measuring 200m2, 15 lockers, an area for offices and archives, toilets, an ice machine installation and an analysis laboratory
